The hibiscus flowers are nicely scattered through the frame. There's enough complexity here that I think a larger version would show off the details better. I could also see cropping from the left to reduce the number of orange flowers(?). For me, they're distracting.

Oh, sounds like a wonderful place to be. . .floating down a river in a kayak viewing the passing hibiscus flowers. . . Nice interspersing of colors accents throughout this image. The bottom 2/3 seems to be fairly soft, whether due to fast ripples or camera shake; I would wish for a little more clarity in these areas to improve this image.

By the way, I see you are fairly new to NPN. Welcome to a great place to learn and share with fellow photographers, Paul!

Mark & Carolyn,

Thank you for your comments. Your input is much appreciated.
I did consider some cropping, but I was afraid of crowding the primary points of interest (the red flowers). The 'orange flowers' are actually dried leaves of the hibiscus plants, and I purposefully selected this image from the several I took because I thought the extra color was a plus.
There are always many ways to look at our images!

I like this a lot. I love the greens and grays and all the points of color.
