Folks,

Been a few light years I guess since I posted an image, all due to my recovering health, and some personal commitments.

Had read about the firmware upgrade for the 7D, and updated it over the weekend, and looked out of the window, when this Barbet came by.

Nice capture of a very interesting looking bird. Colors and detail in the bird look right on. I would guess it would blend into the foliage of it's habitat rather well.

What an interesting looking bird and color pattern. I have never heard of this bird and had to look it up. Very nice feather detail and good eye contact on the larger version, way to go.

Very cool image, Vinod. Hope you get a chance to post more in the future. The green on this bird is incredible. Looks like it would be really difficult to find in foliage. Excellent detail and a neat pose.
