White-tailed Kites

Don't you hate it when you're trying to land and everyone is telling you how you should be doing it?

This week I got Kites. Lots of Kites. Hope you don't mind.

I've been photographing this same pair and their offspring locally for some years now. Unfortunately a "For Sale" sign has just gone up on the property and it shouldn't be long before this land is housing. Ah, progress.

Frankly, I'm getting tired of all the perfect kite shots. (NOT - I'm just jealous!

)

Tough to get 3 birds in a frame. all in good poses - you nailed this one.
Perfect exposure, perfect angle, perfect detail, perfect comp!

Nice lighting and great to see multiple kites in an image like that. Background is solid as well.

Wonderful action shot and what a great opportunity to be able to photograph these kites. Too bad about the 'for sale' sign. Excellent shot to get all 3 in focus and very nice detail on the larger image, well done.

Super shot Charlie, great to get 2 calling and 1 landing at the same time
