Bison attitude w/repost

It is sometimes difficult to get a grazing animal to show its personality, but it is still the bison rut, so they are carrying around quite of bit of aggressive attitude. I liked this for the dust he is raising, his shape, and the movement in the posture. A bit of crop off bottom and left.

D3S, 200-400 @ 340, ISO 1250, 1/200, f7.1

Observations welcomed.

Hello Lon

Great positioning, with his aggressive posing to give a Sence of Movement. The shutter speed was Quite good at this capture and a little front hoof movement adds to the overall image. the catchlight is excellent too. Sharp & Detailed where it matters.

Fine image of a bull bison in rut! Great detail in his coat. The larger image shows his attitude very well, would not have wanted to be in front of this guy! Thanks for sharing.

Great pose and cool atmosphere, the front hoof adds up to the image.
I was just wondering, if the image would benefit from the boost in the contrast.

I really like the attitude of this Bison. The dust adds an action feeling.
I wish I get to see one of theese animals in real life some day.

Well done!

I like the action you managed to capture in this one Lon. The flying dust adds a lot to this and I think the repost is right on the money. Great work!
