Rocky Mountain Bee Plant

Wow! I love the graphic look of this, with those electric purples and the textures all around. This is a very personal preference, and I think this picture is great as is, but I might consider cropping over from the right, or over from the left, in order to give a stronger flow to the flowers that ring the central bloom, if that makes sense?

Bee Plants are very delicate and pretty flowers. I like the image. Nice comp. and fine colors. The only thing I think I that make the image stronger is the have the petals of the open flowers at the front of the plant in focus.

I like this Nancy, maybe a little too shallow for my taste, but at the same time more depth might bring too much.into focus. This looks like a difficult subject to get just right.

Nancy - This is a tough flower to photograph and I am seeing compositions like this for the first time on this flower. I really like your take on this...reminds me of a multi layered Cake. Lot of alternate compositions are of course possible but I like the colors and the POF here.

You were shooting this at the same time I was shooting some here, and since yours is extraordinary, I'll just wait to post mine much later.
