I hope to post a series of images taken along the road through the Canadian Rockies. Unfortunately time constraints did not allow side trips to the numerous lakes and vistas most stop to see. This image was taken using Canon 5D, 70-200 IS lens.

Breathtaking view. I think I'm really going to enjoy these roadside vistas. Can't wait for the next one. I love the way the barren talus slopes and rock faces seem to surround and protect the forested hills. Very nicely captured

I really like the immensity of this. I know it's humbling to be in places like this and this picture captures that feel.

Beautiful scene Patricia. The greenery really pops! Oh, this makes me want to be there so bad, just above treeline. My only concern is that the sky seems a bit on the dull side; I might suggest perking that up a little.

The light is really nice with different levels of shadow. As a result the green is emphasized which adds to the quality of the image. I think I agree with Bill that the sky seems a bit dull. Adding some more blue would perhaps help. Nevertheless a beautiful shot of a beautiful landscape Patricia.
