Thank you for your comments on MG 1. Here's another version of the same Morning Glory. Early morning natural light. Fellows Riverside Gardens, Youngstown. Nikon D700, 180 macro, iso 200, f5.6, 1/125. Larger version included. Comments, suggestions and questions welcome. :wavey:

This is wonderful Scott... even better than the first in the series. The focus points gives complementary sharp edges on both the flower and the leaf. Excellent!

Perfect DOF - like this more than #1.
Lovely soft colours, but with some well-defined places to rest the eye.

This is beautiful, Scott! Wonderful colors, and I like your point of focus. Lovely how the edge of the leaf is in focus, too. :toast:

This is terrific, Scott. I particularly like the pink glow at the base of the blossom as well as the sprinkling of pollen on the petals and the hint of the pistil (?). Nice work.

I really like this image, Scott! I love Morning Glories but haven't had much luck so far getting a decent picture of them. You have a fine capture here with a great DOF choice. Very nice comp with the leaf underneath and the upward angle of the flower. I like your POV with just a tiny bit of the center of the flower peeking over the petal edge.

I love the center barely popping through and the heart-shaped leaf supporting it. I may try to get the color in the URC to more closely match the green of the rest of the image, but that is very, very minor. There is also a weird blueish outline under the tip of the leaf that I would clone out. I am digging deep on this one because it is one of the most beautiful morning glory shots I have ever seen! Really beautiful work, Scott!

I like the comp and this color/variety of MG..
The ones here are all mostly the same color, just different shades.
The base seems to almost glow

Scott - This is much better and appealing compared to the previous one. Really like the flower of course but how much that edge of the leaf adds to the composition. Fine Fine Composition.

Great BG, wonderful bloom, and nice supporting greenery Scott. The 'attitude' of the flower is very nice in this shot.
