Eye in the Garden

Eye in the Garden, April 15th 2012

I came across this image, early in the morning, while in my backyard. Drop of dew, on a leaf, that gave me the impression of an "eye"

Minor brightness and Contrast adjustments.

Panasonic DMC-TZ3
Focal Length 46mm
Shutter Speed 1/30 sec
Aperture f/4.9
ISO/Film 160

I was asked to post the camera settings, for my photos. I could not afford an expensive camera body and macro equipment, so I built an attachment for my camera, that included cardboard tubing and lots of duct tape. The above settings, may or may not make any sense since the attachment changes just about everything. :)

Certainly looks like an eye, due in large part to the eyelashes. Very cool and well captured, Stephen.

Nice one Stephen. Sure does look like an eye. Well composed and exposed. Really nice detail in those areas you chose to keepp in focus. Wonderful green color and the dew drops are special.
