Fetid Marigold 2

I have been lying down in these flowers while taking these and the smell is quite pungent. Not exactly fetid, but clearly pungent.... apparently it has been used as a cooking spice. They are carpeting the desert out here now.

Very different from your first one and very nice. I like how the FG acts as leading lines to the first line of blossoms. The DOF works well although I wouldn't mind seeing all three up from flowers nice and sharp....Putting up with the pungent odor has been worth it.

This is awesome, Eirini! I love the slightly lower in focus flowers and how they provide depth with the out of focus higher ones. Great colors, too.

I like the way your dof makes them seem to hover in the frame. The colors lend this image a wonderful mood.

I am much happier with this over your first in the series. While it is soft, it is well put together; good leading lines and enough detail to be easily recognizable. Good work!

I like the entire image, Eirini, especially the three flowers and criss crossing arcing stems at the bottom of the image. The colors are nice as well with the yellow flowers and blue tones.

Eirini - Pretty cool. I like the trio in focus with the leading lines formed by the think leaves in front which are just about in good focus for the task of leading. Background is sufficiently blurred to make the main trio stand out.

Wow, even better than the first presentation!! Love the tight comp with the selective focus softness and the one flower sharper in the front row. The color of the bg looks really good in there-- feels like a nice, harmonious contrast and characterizes its environment in a subtle but meaningful way. Well done!
