I was trying to take pictures of the flowers & was enamored by the enormous pollen baskets on some of the bees!

No easy task catching a bee in inflight, I like the soft warm colors and light of this scene Eirini.
Very easy on the eye, well done :toast:

Wow, this is an amazing flight shot, and even more so because of the absolutely lovely background, which is perfect for this bee's activity. I'm glad you did not crop this closer because the size of the background provide an excellent size perspective as well as setting the floral scene.

I love this image, Eirini. It's one thing to catch insects in flight, but when you get them perfectly eye level and looking/flying right into the lens, that's taking it to a whole different level. The frame filling oof flowers makes a beautiful bg. Finally, the saddle bags are amazing. It looks like they are being carried under the bee's arms. I'd love to have this image in my portfolio. I would think this is a publishable image although that is a little hard to judge at this size. :toast:

This is wonderful! A working bee ferrying bags of pollen home. Amazing to get this at eye level. Love the bg as well. :toast:
