Love your processing on this one. I like the bold highlights and excellent fg textures. Color separation is awesome. Love those strong God beams too. Magic shot Kah Kit!

The sky and the light beams are pretty intense here. So much that I feel the foreground you've selected is unnecessary. The foreground distracts from the business end of the photo which is the mountains, the light, and the water in the midground. When I place my hand over the bottom of the image, it gives a very calm feeling. When I remove my hand and the foreground is in place, it loses that sense of calm. Do you have any horizontal shots of just the top half of this one?

Love the comp, love the light. love the wave action. The colors seem a bit off somehow though. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Ben I had similar thoughts before posting this today, trying out various crops because when I covered the bottom with my hand it seemed nicer. But I found that to be an illusion. The wave motion gives it symmetry but also a sort of opposing tension. Even that rock at the bottom which seems at first unnecessary plays its part IMO.

Kory, this is a dramatic high impact sort of a scene so I've hit it with some contrast and brought out the colours in the sky as a by product of this. It's the sort of scene I think that benefits from an optimized presentation rather than with a strict adherence to documentary.

Wow, Kah Kit! That's some incredible light. I particularly love the fan of water at the bottom that mimics the fan of light.

Pure looking. Light ...clarity, color blending, sound of the waves and trumpets in the sky....very full frame. Congrats.

Whoa, that is intense! Nice way of keeping that feeling in the foreground as well as the background. Amazing light show!

Great action and gorgeous color Kah Kit. I like how the foreground balances the light beams.

Wow Kah Kit, what a combo of elements. I think both the upper and lower halves of the image could stand on their own quite well, especially the dramatic rays of light up top. But I love the texture of the water at the bottom and that rock looks like gold. A wonderful image.

Wow, that's a cool shot from Largo di Garda. I have been there a few times, and I think I have seen some other images of this place from you. I always wondered, and still do, how you manage to keep the manmade elements out. This is such a populated area! Anyway, a stunning composition.

Really, really, nice, Kah. That textured-yet-transparent water coming over the foreground rocks is already excellent enough, but then as I'm led back into the scene.. WHAT? Ridiculous crepuscular rays shooting up from craggy peaks? This is one of my favorites from you. Never saw the original process, but I wouldn't change a thing about this rework.

Didl, I guess coming in winter kept many of the manmade elements out. There were just a few buoys which I cloned out.
