Kansas Isaac
by Larry Fischer
Photo was taken NW of Topeka, Kansas as Hurricane Isacc's west edge brushed or locale.
The eerie light prevailed at dusk I presume due to humidity. I took a lot of shots including a double rainbow and many clouds, most under an umbrella as a light rain fell.
The storm moved out basically by the next day. I did get some neat almost-blue-moon shots the next morning as clouds swirled in counterclockwise fashion on the storm's remaining edge. The moon would appear then go behind the thin line of clouds.
Nikon D700, various lenses including most with 14-14 Nikkor f/2.8

Actually the first photo, the yellowish one, was more the the normal color although my processing might have skewed it the wrong way.
As such, I thought I could bring out the rainbow more in the second photo so I processed it as such.
The sun was setting and the humidity was very high. The humidity associated with the hurricane I believe created the "light".
This was taken with an umbrella over me and camera.
Thanks for the time to comment.
