Swainson's Thrush

This was taken in North Vancouver, BC. I had about a second to focus and fire before he fled. I find Swainson's and Hermit Thrushs very shy and timid. This bird was in the middle of a salmonberry bush but I think the soft leaves give a very natural effect and I don't mind that part of the bird was covered somewhat. Let me know your thoughts.

Excellent framing and nice look at this bird - flash isn't too obvious either

Nice Mark. The head is in the clear so this works for me. Gives the feeling of a very secretive bird.

Your composition captures nicely the secretive character of this species.

Nice to get one of these, Mark. Image quality looks pretty good and the oof foreground doesn't bother me.
