I have been busier than ever the past few months and it isn't even art show season! I did manage to get away for a roadtrip through Florida. This is a wonderful area up north in the Suwanee River valley.

What a beauty. I like the mild colors and unusual triangular shapes.

This is really nice. Love the depth and color contrasts. I think the bottom half of the image could work well on it's own too, but this is great as is.

i like the lower third. The top looks all blurry to me, like water on the lens. But maybe im having a flashback or something...

Wow, my favorite is cypress and you did a great job with these. Any gators nearby? A gator in the scene would have made this even more memorable. :toast: But seriously, I really like this and this would look great on any wall.

Gorgeous shot from below. I love the perspective. I think these are planertrees below the baldcypress. We have them as far north as southeast Missouri, in our lowland swamp forest.

Paul, I especially enjoy the way you add a kind of weightlessness to the mighty trunks. The smooth surface with the slightly blurred reflection is amazing to me.

Gotta love these old Cypress tree scenes. This one is excellent, Paul. The larger version provides some great detail too.

Your title definitely captures the sense created by the picture. The gentle green glow up top is reflected so nicely in the water and the brown trunks with their textures do feel like they're pillars holding up the roof. Lovely!

Very nice! I love the contrast between the visual energy in the upper portion of the frame and the calming effect of the smooth water surface.

This is a very impressive image and good thinking by you to use the 24mm TS that way for this scene.
