The dust and the open scenery of Amboseli National Park create some great twilight photography opportunities.

Great atmosphere n beautiful image !I just love the faintly visible Zebras at the distance.
May prefer to crop off some of the foreground.

Very nice image! The fading zebras in the distance, as well as the dancing one, are stunning. I agree to crop of some of the bottom.

Thanks both for your comments. I had made the composition specifically like this to have the FG cover 1/3 of the image and since it's uncluttered, I quite liked it like that...but I will await further comments
Thanks again

Amazing atmosphere! The hues are beautiful. As others have noted, I would also slightly crop off some of the bottom as well. Well done.

Beautiful light, and great timing on the shot, I like his front hooves in the air and the dust kicking up behind him. The overall composition is also quite nice with the other animals in the background. Well done

Neat image, Ingrid, with an artful effect. I have looked two or three times, trying to decide if I agreed with removing a bit of the bottom and have decided it is really minor. If this were mine, I might have taken a wee bit more off, but not all that much. Really, I think the drama of that pose and the other animals within the back-lighted dust keep the eye plenty preoccupied! The pose and the one other animal with his head and body mostly out of the dust cloud make the image and the story. In a perfect world one could wish that the partial zebra on the right hand edge would have been within the dust, but my solution in printing would be to selectively lighten that one to match the tone of surroundings and enjoy this on the wall.

Nice one Ingrid. I'd crop off half of that foreground. And I'd remove those bright half dots along the top of the frame.

Definitely better, now that you have cropped out a bit of the foreground. Amboseli sure is a place you can make such dramatic sunset-and-dust images! Just love that place!
