Resting

This is the same cub that was in my photo entitled "sniffin'". He was looking for food along the beach until he decided to head into the forest. I was disappointed at first, but then I saw he was heading straight for a small opening in the trees. Sure enough, he stopped there and sat down, then rested his head and paws on a low hanging branch. I was shooting at 1/40sec, so I had to stay still and shoot when he wasn't moving! After a while he decided it was time to head back down to search for more food.

Thanks for looking!

I like this a lot Jenaya, great to get him lounging on that branch, your dof looks perfect and at 1/40 you did a great job.

Those eyes with the large catchlights look very mischievous. The leaf near the mouth is a bit unfortunate, but the photo still works and you captured the opportunity as well as possible. :toast:

Beautiful expression here, Jenaya. I like how you worked around the obstructions of leaves and I like your choices in post processing which result in a richly colorful image.
