A nice view of this sparrow with great feather detail. I do find the branch in the foreground a bit distracting.

Good look at this pretty sparrow. I would try a vertical crop to get rid of the offending perches .

Sandy, I think you've got a nice image and don't find anything that displeases me. Reasonable detail on the bird, good lighting, and a very nice bgnd. The oof perch in the foreground doesn't bother me, Birds are where they are and you deal with it.

Well done!

Branch in front doesn't bother me. You've got a real handsome sparrow here. Sharon

A really cool sparrow species Sandy. I like the overall comp. The fine detail in the larger version could be better, but I would def take this shot.

Nice looking specimen Sandy. The fg branch does command some attention but I like this as is.

Nice image of this beautiful sparrow. Probably would be more effective without the out of focus branch in the foreground.

Good, solid shot, Sandy. No nits. I like that you cranked it out at ISO 800 with very little noise.

Lovely colors and nice comp. The splash of green leaves is nice visual interest.

Handsome sparrow, sharpest on the head. Some fill flash in the field would have been helpful here to throw a little more light on the bird and tone down the bg. :toast:
