Purple-bibbed Whitetip

Here's an image from an Ecuador private tour that I led this summer. It was raining at one of the lodges we stopped at to photograph Booted Racketail, so I had to set up a hummer shoot in a very small location to keep us and the equipment from getting wet. My client ended up working with a macro lens and I with a 70-200. It was fun to photograph the hummers at such close range and led to some different perspectives such as this one.
Canon 7D, 70-200 at 190mm 1/200 F20, iso 500, 6 Nikon SB-slave flashes, artificial bg.
