Salt and Sky

Looking up the Tooele Valley from some salt flats by the Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. Processed in color originally, which had zero punch, then converted to B&W by gradient map and added some contrast and some selective dodging and burning. C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

This turned out really well. Fine dramatic feel with great foreground pattern and sky.

Oooh, nice. The thumbnail does not do this one justice. I like the composition and that foreground is awesome with all the lines from the salt flats. Those clouds add even more to the canvas. I bet this really shines at a larger size. Excellent work!!

I am glad I clicked on the thumbnail which doesn't do this image justice. Wonderful contrast and tones Jeff. Very dramatic sky and foreground.
