Wonderful overall and I'm so glad it is a panorama.

I like this for the same reasons I liked the original. The pano looks better than the 2x3 version, but I think I would not have cropped off quite so much. This looks like a 1x2 pano, but something in between that and 2x3 would be good if you are not worried about "standard" aspect ratios. If you do like to stick to certain shapes, you could keep the original 2x3 format by cropping a bit from the bottom and right. However, I think a non-standard crop, keeping about half of the original FG would look best. Sorry if all this is driving you crazy, but I just can't resist playing with such a beautiful view. This is so nice, you have a lot of options for cropping, and it will still be beautiful.

I really like the layering. The sky and background has a softness to it. Great shot.

You captured a wonderful mood here with this grand vista, Richard. The warm and cool tones work quite nicely together and the low lying clouds are a nice touch.

I definitely prefer this version over the original Richard. I like the layers and subtle lighting. The fog (smoke?) in the middle of the frame really adds an area of interest to the image.

Richard, I agree with Wayne. You cropped too much IMO. It adds some mystery and contrast to have the black silhouette trees. There was just too much of the original that was black. Try a 16:9 ratio cropping off the bottom. With a 2 exposure blend, it seems you could have brought some details into the trees in the original. It's a nice image, and I want to help you get it to it's best. Just crop off the grass edge clutter from the original, and I think it'll be pretty good.

A distinct improvement! I notice that you did some shadow adjustment too ... a good choice. I would tend to respectfully disagree with Wayne and Brad that this is cropped too much now. I think that there is just enough interest in the foreground now to be appealing but not overpowering.

Richard, This works so much better for me now. Really is a beautiful image. I like it as you have it now, but also think just a little more of the dark bottom showing would work well. Doesn't need much more to suite my taste..., but as I mentioned it works well as it is now too. Like this one alot!!

The low-lying fog makes the shot for me. Love these pre-dawn moments. Pano works well.

Nicely done Richard. I like the pano crop - would make a beautiful print. My only nit is that the rock face on the left seems a little too dark, but that's an easy fix.
