Charlie this is a post for Halloween. It looks like one of those twisted forests that you would see in a horror show. I would never have guessed what this was without your explanation. Well seen and photographed. Great abstract.

Well, this makes sense now that I read your description, but before that I was baffled for a couple of seconds. It made me take a hard look, which is great! Well seen.

Nice reflections, very moody --almost spooky. I like the sense of flow and energy

Good old NPN. Things are seen that I had no idea were there I liked this because I've never gotten flowing water the way I like it but this part of the image was it. I've always preferred water to look smooth and not blur white from motion as is often done. That it looks "spooky" I hadn't noticed. Thanks for responses all. Appreciate it, I do.

This is really cool Charlie. It's a very unique abstract image. I like the colors and the dark and moody feel of the image.

Wow! This is a very appealing abstract. I'd only suggest perhaps a minor shadows adjustment in the upper left corner.

Charlie, I like what this could be, but right now I feel it is underexposed.

I have played with the shadows a bit and post another version. For a number of reasons I'm trying to listen and adjust to others views. I had thought of lightening that area and the image overall but thought the blue highlights in the water flow looked a bit better on the dark side, As we all know each of us has a personal taste and more and more I'm trying to consider others.
What do you think.

Charlie, I especially like those bits of lightning near the center and the colors and shapes. I find the ulc dark and distracting, so I'd suggest cropping some from the left. Just saw the repost and it does a good job of minimizing my complaint.

Your repost Charlie is wonderful! A fantastic abstract with a very painterly effect.

Charlie, This is a cool shot!! I like your original but feel the repost is probably more appealing to a larger group. Nice work with this...

Fascinating abstract. And, yes, a little creepy.
