Morava Floodplains I

Capturing the very last daylight today evening in the floodplains of the Morava. The river is situated at the Austrian-Slovakian border in the eastern part of our country. This is the first part of my recent series of intimate scenes from this place.

A fine comp utilizing the lines of tree trunks. I also like the reds. A quietly beautiful image.

Great detail Peter, and the leaves combined with the white trunks is very attractive. You might play with cropping it a little smaller off the bottom and right to remove the green in the lrc.

Large version is stunning. Light and colors are perfect for late evening, and the details are wonderful--especially the curvy trunk on the lhs. Very nice image.
