Lloret de Mar, Spain

Lloret de Mar is a famous touristic village in Costa Brava that it is at one hour driving from Barcelona. Most of the people visiting the village, only know the bars, discotheques and the main beaches crammed with people. But near these crammed beaches, there are some stunning coves; some of them are really famous among photographers. Here, I would like to show you one of them. The moon light helped us providing some light.
Regards
Joana

Joana, this is surreal. Incredible, would love to see the specs of the exposure and maybe a large version

Beautiful picture. I like the mist around the rocks.

Excellent soft light, Joana. Personally, I find the image overall a little bright for the time of day and the moonlight, but it does help bring out the color and details.

Great scene (and well seen). This has such a gentle and peaceful feeling.

The brightness makes it look like daylight, but the fogged water and reflected light look more like late or night light. It's a fascinating combo and I'm really enjoying the uniqueness. My only suggestion would have been to compare a lower camera position to move the rocks slightly higher in the scene in the lrc.

Thanks for your comments,

@ John: You're right. I forgot to indicate the exposure data. Here you are:
EOS 5D Mark ii, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM, 30 seconds at f/14, ISO 100.

@Scott: You are right, it seems too brightly. I thought exactly the same. I always try to do minimum adjustments in LR, just to try to "imitate" the reality. It is not easy in the case of nocturnal shots, since it is something relative and everybody has a different perception of the light and, also, could remember the scene in a different way. In this case, the shot was done at 19:06 and the sunset was at 18:46 just behind us, having the full moon in front of us. Just after the sunset, in the opposite direction, there is still a lot of light and, this night (Oct, 28, 2012), with the bright of the moon, even more. You know, it was one of these brightly nights that offer hundreds of possibilities in any direction. But, I agree with you, it seems too brightly like day light. I know that it seems unreal but I prefer to keep like this, because it is as I can remember it.

Regards

Hi John,
Yes, I have other shot with a lower camera position. But, there is a big rock, and I do not like the composition. Here you are:
Anyway, there are hundreds of possibilities and we would come back.

This really is a lovely place. I like the mystery created of the moonbeam with no moon. It's a very appealing image.
