I miss the bush from your last post. I do like the closer look at the tree and butte but IMO, this one doesn't have quite the impact of the previous one.

This has very nice light, Richard, and I like the balance between the tree and the butte. Was it windy? The tree and the grasses seem soft, especially in the smaller image.

This looks like a great area to play around in with lots of possibilities. Here though, two things seem a little off and are getting in the way of my enjoying this to its potential. I agree with Mark that there is an odd softness/sharpness, almost like jpg artifacts? The other is that the color seems off. Did you happen to shoot a white card at the time? If so, it might be worth double checking that.

Richard, I like this scene and the previous post of this local. actually like the first best. I am a bit puzzled by what looks to me as a lack of sharpness in both images. I would have thought at F-18 your depth of field would have given you good sharpness even with a polorizer. Thanks for posting both views.
