Narnia's Fringe

Today is a day of contention here in the USA, and so I thought I'd post a photo that for me evokes fall moving to winter, holidays and family-time soon to arrive, and my hope that we all come together as proud Americans no matter the elections' outcomes.

Peace my friends! :toast: :toast: :toast:

John,

This is outrageously gorgeous! Of course bordering on the "nah, this didn't really exist did it?" ;-) I mean, it's almost too perfectly arranged... Not complaining, this is amazing - simply beautiful.

If it were mine, I might back off the Lights just a tad (1/2 stop?) and play around with the warm color balance. But those are personal choices anyway.

I love this John.

Right out of a fairytale! You could not find things arranged better. Conditions are perfect. Maybe just a tad on the warm side, but maybe not.

Thanks everyone, for your more than kind comments. I'll play with darkening and cooling it a bit.

Catherine, yes. This was from the edge of the field at the opposite end of the Trout Lake meadow we were shooting Adams from. This was from the morning after you parted ways with Don and I at this location. I took a ton of photos, not my usual style, and wasn't happy with most of them. It's surprisingly hard sometimes to catch a comp even when surrounded by crazy color and patterns. Fortunately, this one really clicked with me when I got back.
