Star Magnolia

The magnolia flower is one of my favorites and I simply love the background on this image. Are the colors over the top for others? Your feedback would be appreciated.

Taken with Canon 7D, using 100-400 IS lens. F-11, 1/000 sec., ISO 400.

Love your comp here, Patricia, and the overall feel to the image. The effect you chose suits the subject perfectly, IMHO. This is ready to hang on a wall as far as I'm concerned!

I have lost this beauty Patricia. One of the best photo of a star magnolia that I have seen.
I usually like better a low saturation but with a full white subject I think that it is excellent as it is.

Not over the top for me. I knew it was a star magnolia as soon as I saw it. One of the most lovely flowering trees there is imho. The bg is very complimentary. Wonderful capture - Well done.
