This was shot from inside the house through an open door. The pink in the background is from a Chinese Toon tree that currently has its leaves bright pink.

Toya, the background and perch make this a unique image for me. Nice light on the bird and I like the head turn. There seems to be some noticeable noise in the background.

Nice job using your house as a blind. Love the color of the background and how the birds head turn shows off the white eye ring.
The image seems a bit contrasty to me, I would be tempted to lighten up the shadows a bit.
Overall a very pleasing image.

The colorful background compliments the feather colors well. I like the curly fern-like fronds on the perch. I'd leave a bit more room on the left, I think.
