The colors along the St. Mary's River in Nova Scotia drew me to this scene. Canon 7D, 100-400 IS lens. F6.3, 1/250, ISO 320, -1 exposure compensation, Focal Length 100. Cropped, levels and sharpened.

Comments always welcomed.

A nice scene, Patricia. The sharp glints in various places are a bit distracting. I don't know if they are due to resizing or sharpening.

Patricia,

I like the autumn scene here and like the added element of the rock in the water. I gotta add to Phil's comments because something isn't working right in getting this image prepped for the web. I expect some combination of compression/data loss and sharpening for the web. But some of the white areas, lighter branches have turned in to dots rather than continuous tone. You might want to look at your process for resizing and sharpening for the web.

I'll second the suggestion on reworking the sharpening, but it is a lovely scene with very nice color and a very balanced comp. Nicely done.
