I like the "s" in your comp as well as the color and texture of the grasses.

Beautiful color and wonderful detail. I love these intimate shots with the varied textures and foliage. This one is excellent.

Although I like this, I prefer your first posting of the Buffalo Creek area. The orange reeds
look like they're a river current running from front to back.

The wonderful S curve on the left hand side really flows well. I'd be tempted to crop about 1/3 of the right hand side, perhaps to a square format, to focus the entire attention on that S curve. Would end up being a bit more abstract and is only a suggestion of course. Nicely seen.

I really like the serenity this portrays. Nice subtle movement through the grass.

Richard,

Stan stole my thoughts once again! My first thought - before reading any comments, was that I think you may have a new calling! This is gorgeous. The combination of light, color texture and design is wonderful! I love this, and of course is right up my alley. Great vision on this one. I love this.

I think this one neds to be about the grass/cattails, and only about them. The diversity worked well in the wider vertical. I might have gone even tighter here to really emphasize the color and detail of those. The colors are beautiful, and the detail looks good.
