Very interesting light and perspective Evan! I would just clone out that little flare below the sun. And that road might get this moved to the M&N gallery. Great mood you captured here!

I like the pov, comp. and light. I agree the suggestion about taking out the flare from the sun and possibly the road, although the road doesn't bother me.

I didn't say the road should be taken out, only that this might be moved to the M&N gallery because of it. :wavey:

I posted it in here because i felt that the road was such a minor part of the image and I want the focus to be the sunset and bush. Thanks for your comments so far!

IMO, the road isn't much of an issue here. I really like the image, and the 'ball' of vibrant flowers in the fg. I do feel that if you lightened up the top of the sky just a bit, along with the top right part of the rocks, it would create more of a seamless blend. I think at the moment the sky may be a little dark compared to the fg. You have a good leading line from the flowers to the setting sun, so I think this is a strong image. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting shot Evan! I love the colour and the composition. I agree that the flare could be taken out, and I also feel that the sky is a little dark for my taste. Not sure if you are able to lighten the sky a little, but that would be my preference. Overall, nice shot!

Evan,

Very effective image. The light and exposure on the rock and flowering plant is excellent. The other half of the image is a bit too dark for my taste, but then this may be just what you are after too. All a matter of personal choice and taste, nothing wrong.

As far as the road goes, technically it is the hand of man and normally we will move these images. But considering myself or none of the other moderators have moved it after a few days, I'll leave it be. We try to be consistent, but then also understand being a new member and learning the in's and out's. What you might want to do is review the Man & Nature gallery and take a look at some of the images there where there is even less of a presence of man than your image here.

Thanks for posting!

This nice, and dramatic, I like it. I think with one more exposure to blend, it would be awesome! I'd like to see the darker areas a little brighter.
