I've never seen such magnificent sunrises and sunsets as I saw last w0ek at Bosque del Apache preserve in New Mexico. This was one of 3 sunrises that needed very little tweaking in post processing.

Canon 5d, Mk3, IS0640, 45mm, f/7.1, 1/160sec.

This was hand held as we got a late start this morning and I hopped out of the car quickly to catch it.

I love the colors and overall image has a lot of appeal. I originally thought those two birds had long wing spans and were skimming the water...Not sure they are in the best position in the frame but I love the ripples they are leaving

Kathy, What a pretty sunrise this is! Beautiful colors and reflection. I like the ducks (I think ducks) and their wake pattern through the water. Very nice.

Serendipitous! Would have been a glorious sunrise without the birds, but they really take this one up a notch. What a sight and a great moment.
