Like so many tropic birds, this shrub was glowing with color after a rain came through. Taken along Castle Creek in Colorado. I'm not sure what the identification is, so any help along those lines will be appreciated.

Beautiful colors. Excellent comp and detail. I love that there are so many different colors on this shrub.

Looks like some kind of sumac. Good color and comp, and an appropriate use of the polarizer.

Morris, what a wonderful pallet of colors. And although I'm not familiar with western plants, I agree with Phil in that this looks like some type of sumac. :cool:

Wow, that's some color palette, Morris. Amazing. I don't think I've ever seen such variety on a single plant or group like this.
