Jim,
This is fantastic! I have been enamored with arrangements as of last year and have been making arranged assortments at beaches but have always fancied the idea of doing the same in the woods, deserts and other ecosystems. I don't know if this was as found or if you arranged it, but I love it. The composition, the colors, textures and variety of what grows in the desert is perfect.

This is sweet Jim, really like the pine cones and needles, and the twisted dead wood really holds my attention. Beautiful, really love this one.

Great textures, composition and the splash of color from the sand really sets this off nicely.

Very nice composition - only nit is it feels a bit overexposed.

Jim,
What a wonderful, intimate study. Great mix of the cones, needles and of course the strong, weathered diagonal. No nits really, although my preference might be to drop the overall brightness a 1/2 stop or so, but a minor suggestions. Well seen and beautifully photographed.

This is a beautiful "still life", Jim. It seems you found the perfect distribution of cones and soil to set off the dead limb.

Nice composition and arrangement of the elements. I do agree that it seems a tad bit overexposed. Could benefit from a tiny boost in contrast as well.

The light you brought to this image, like all your Zion pictures, is gorgeous. This may be my favoritest of all.
