Perched

I don't usually bother with "bird on a stick" type photos, but this perched baldie shot really jumped out at me so I went ahead and processed it. Plenty of detail on the bird (to my eye at least), but I'm still on the fence about it due to the busy background.

As always, comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Fine portrait of this baldy! Nice pose and fine detail on the head and most of the feathers.
The BG doesn't bother me a bit, since the eagle is so sharp and isolated.
Excellent!

I like this one too  Very clean frontal view with a nice pose and great head turn. The bare tree limbs give a good sense of the season, they don't seem distracting to me at all. I may be tempted to try to pull out more deatil in the darker feathers though.

Sweet Photo Guy!

Super shot Guy. Love the low light and detail on the bird. BG is a plus for me. Nice lines.

I like the shot as posted with the head turn and eye contact. I also might try to bring up some feather detail on the dark back side, way to go.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'll definitely try to bring more detail out of the dark feathers.
