Great water and bird Patrick. The water past the bird's head and further into the BG changes color and texture and is not as pleasing as the FG water IMO. Wondering if a bit lower angle would have extended the great color and texture further back in the image. Just a thought. Nice as posted.

Good composition and pose. Am I seeing a bit of blue color cast here? Was this bird part of a feral population or captive?

Great pose. Love the wing positions. Bet you waited for that for a while. NIce one, although you could tone down some of the lighter ripples. Still very nice as is.

Ron, Wayne and Phil,
I wish I could have taken this photo from a lower angle. There was a slope up to where I could take a photo, the ground was wet and the ducks are not toilet trained. Hence, my reluctance to get lower.
On the site the photo does have a blue cast, although it did not on my screen when I processed it. Will calibrate the computer color tonight. Keith Bauer is tutoring me on CS6 using Log Me In, and he and I were both very satisfied with the image on my screen when we finished last night, but I can see that what is displayed on the site may benefit from warming up a bit. Keith and I talked about cloning the background to tone down the whites, but decided that doing it naturally was best. It is reflecting a dirt bank behind the pond. Thank all three of your for your comments.

Love the pose, love the reflection, love the water. Oh and the bird is really cool also. Great capture!
