A favorite cold weather subject from the local florist. Taken with Canon 7D, using 100-400 with 500D macro diopter.

Patricia: One of my favorite subjects superbly captured and rendered. Marvelous color palette and a very complementary BG. Most excellent. >=))>

This subject could not have been captured better Patricie. Superb work in my opinion.

For the life of me I cannot get good comps with this flower. You, however, don't seem to have the problem I do.....this is terrific. The diagonal lines, color, and clarity are just right. Did you desaturate the BG? If so, it works very well.

Patricia.
Really beautiful BOP The light is just right and the color is true and vibrant. Like the radiating lines starting from the RLC.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Mark - My primative set up is placing the flowers in a vase, setting it on the railing of the back porch and shooting. Luckily there are several positions I can use to either get an evergreen as a dark background, green grass for a colored background, or lots of space before the tree line for this type of background (was a little bit fogggy on this morning). Very little post processing on this one except for toning down some of the areas that needed it.

You've created a fine abstract with really attractive lines and colors. This is great as presented, but as an abstract I do wonder how some solid color/brightness backgrounds would look.

A beautiful abstract capture! This flower is so difficult (IMO) due to the extreme DOF and all the angles, but you handled all of that so well. I love that the bottom left corner naturally fades to white. Perfect placement in the frame.
