My eyes are immediately rivited to the eyes of the owl, all of which is in acceptably sharp focus with the 1.4 TC; we can see individual feather filaments in the larger view along the back and belly, and this sharpness makes the form of the subject pop from the very smooth bokeh. I also like the blend of yellows and browns and the lack of complementary color contrast; i.e., uniformity of range in hue.

I don't know if you intended this, but while in a 2:3 aspect ratio crop the owl would have been looking out of the frame, perhaps at a mouse or some other prey, the high luminance of your signature is being linked in my mind with the owl's gaze, and that corner is obviously quite soft. And so I find myself wondering whether the owl has noticed this situation in that corner and may be whether it should say anything about it.

Welcome to NPN! Glad you're with us.
The owl's eyes here are mesmerizing and the golden sunset light marvelous. Nice pose, as well, and good detail.
The right OOF area bothers me a little, perhaps because your sig calls attention to it. it. Deeper DOF might have helped bring it more into focus. Don't be afraid to use unusual crops - perhaps cutting out some of the OOF area would help.
Still a fine image as is.
