Autumn Fragrance

I discovered this spot by chance while I was on my way to gorge I've never been before. This is in the middle of switzerland a bit north from the alps in an area called Emmental which is famous for its cheese. It was a rainy day.

Bill, I like this image alot. I find the FG sapling and grass a nice intro to a very pleasing view. It shows us alot about the area in a beautiful way. The background is the pay off with the gold and greens and that touch of red. nicely done.

I really enjoy this Bill. This comp works great for me and you have some very nice color and wonderful detail. I like the looks of centered foreground bush. Looks like the kind of place you could sink in to and loose your boots!...

Bill,

Excellent near/far comp, although until viewing the larger version, the "far" almost seems too far. The good news is that all the emphasis in on this little sapling and it's show very well. And the bg forest, color and stormy sky fill the frame nicely. To me, the green in this little guy is a little saturated, but not overly so. Sure looks like an area loaded with opportunities.

A very appealing composition for me, Bill. Following the small ponds leads me into the depth, and the fog in the distance adds a lot to the atmosphere of your image in my opinion.
