I thought I would share an intimate landscape I shot with the Fuji X100. What I like about that camera is the single focal length forces you to move around to find your compostions. This little vinette really came alive with the clouds moved and the sun peaked through. Let me know what you think.

Handheld (tack sharp too) not my usual process

This is really nice. The combination of blue and green work well and the light looks great, too.

I totally agree with Rudy's coment as to the origin of the energy in your image.

Image viewers, like me, often say an image "pops"; this one explodes.

Very memorable, Todd. Thank you so much for posting it.

This works extremely well regarding color contrasts and composition. Very good work and a lesson on use of complimentary color for me.

You have taken an ordinary scene and created an extraordinary image. I like it a lot.

Todd,

Light, color, graphics all come together in a strong composition. Beautiful! No nits or suggestions.

I really like this. Not only the composition, but also the way the light is captured at the perfect moment to make the foreground plant the focal point. Nice colors and balance all around.

Thanks everyone, when I captured the image I felt like the light was special and really made the ordinary scene come alive
