Well, since today is the end of the world.... ;-), why not post another beach abstract.

This one is a better overall shape Eva, though the water colour is not as appealing as the greener Velvia version at Can of Beans, the sand patterns have a nice linear sweep to them. The larger version is a dramatic improvement.

The tidal striae make a pleasing abstract. Lets hope the tide returns!

I liked the other one very much, pretty strong, but this here beats it. This must look amazing as print. I guess as a series, this type of image and theme would be a fantastic body of work. Very artsy and classy stuff Eva!

Hey, if it's the end, start eating lots of chocolate before it's too late!

As for the image, I love the fine detail in such a large area of the frame. The water adds some nice color contrasts too. This kind of reminded of someone else' work. Michael Anderson!

The blue pulls, but it doesn't matter to me because it compliments the neutrals so well. Gorgeous color and interesting lines. Very well done.

Ooooh, I like this one much better than your previous post. This is really sweet IMO. I like everything about it, colors, flow, and the water placement. Very nice Eva.

Eva,

Another wonderful sandy abstract. While I liked the texture and patterns in the little waves previously, I love the blue water here in combo with the "sand fan," texture and color combination. Fantastic use of space and creating just enough tension with the imbalance of blue and sand (as well as positioning in the frame,) that despite the very simple elements, this is quite engaging. Love it.

I think the lines and the blue water really make this image strong. The other was nice but my preference is with this one.
