Double Trouble

This photo is from the red rocks lake wildlife refuge in Montana. My family and I were driving around the refuge one evening and we came across a den with seven kits out playing in the sage brush. I used a 500mm lens and fuji slide film. I welcome comments. Chet

Chet,
Perfect title for this excellent post, the pose of the two subjects is outstanding and I really like the back lighting and detail.
However, you seem to be having a noise problem with this post as well as with others so far, the BG is very grainy on my monitor especially in the larger version. I would also rotate this image counter CW to level the horizon.
This is an outstanding capture. :toast:

This appeals to me very much for the "pedestal" pose, composition, soft background and sweet expression. I would probably experiment just a bit on the digital scan with a slight increase in warmth.

I love the pose. The back lighting gives a nice effect. I even like how it lights up the sage to the right. I agree with all of what mike said about noise and rotating background.

Such a lovely moment, the playful expression on their faces is priceless. I agree with Brad about making the image a touch warmer. I would also selectively remove the BG noise. But apart from that I just love it!

The light on the kits is strong yet soft enough to hold the details and the colors nicely warm and real.
