Costa Brava, Spain

This is one of the most photogenic beaches of the Costa Brava in Catalonia (Spain) at sunset The pictures was taken during winter, when there are no tourists and the lighting is much beautiful. I hope you like it.

And a Happy New Year to you also. Comp and lighting are just great. I especially like the placement of the stick on the beach. I think this would work great as a vertical composition also. Makes me want to be there and listen to those gentle waves roll in.

A lovely beach indeed! I like color of the water here and how it contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the rocks. That lone tree is wonderful and anchors the scene, despite being kinda far away. I'm guessing as you walked closer you have more images of that tree. Reminds me of the Lone Cypress in Carmel, CA

This is a bit brighter than the photos I normally like, however, it works well here. That curve is really nice. I like the way that it leads the eye from the lower right corner up to the rocks on the left and back to the right concluding with the large rock on the right, The tree adds a good focal point and echoes both visually with color and conceptually with the branch in the foreground. Well done.

Forgot to mention this. That classic orange/ blue contrast is highly effective here.

Beautiful, tranquil image. Love the curve of the beach, the wonderful warm colors in the sand and rocks, and that lone tree, all by it lonesome, persevering in such a rocky environment. Really well done.
