This was one of the few evening when everything came together in the right moment. A friend of mine wrote me a message abouth two hours before I took this shot. He told me that yyou can barely see your hand in front of you and all is in fog. When I read this message I was about to leave myy house to go to this place in the Jura mountains. I wasn't quiet sure if I should go now or better stay at home and do some work on my pc......well, fortuanetly I decided to give it a try.

That's a really nice image! I especially like the contrast between the rock with the trees and the rest of the picture.

I really like this image. The light is great, the colors work very well and the fog gives the image a sense of mystery. The exposure is spot on.

Bill I'd say it was an excellent decision. Your use of the rock and trees in the foreground puts it all together for me. Super job on this one!! Chet

Another excellent image from there. I love being able to shoot down on fog, probably my favorite atmospheric conditions. Lovely color, light, and mood. :toast:

Fantastic view. I'm sure the motion of the clouds was great to watch.

Great decision to go. Nice light and very nice color in the distant sky. The composition works well.

Bill, allt he elemets in your image work very well together for me. I especially appreciate the separation of the rock face by the fog, and the details you kept even in the shadows.

I just think of brightening the distant mountain at the left a bit, as it draws my attention rather strongly. But that might be purely a matter of opinion. Impressive work for me as is.

The trees on the point against the clouds is quite nice. I can envision a vertical comp with the right half also.

Sweet! Love that group of trees on the knob of rock, the colors, the sea of clouds. :toast: :toast:

What a fantastic vista. I can almost smell the fresh air. I love the slight backlighting of the FG ridge. This is a really great shot Bill, well done.
