I love leafscapes; in fact, they're probably my favorite subject. Shot this several years back at Talladega National Forest in NW Alabama. For whatever reasons I don't think I ever processed it. Finally did, and thought I would share it with you. Hope you enjoy...

LARGE version available for better detail.

D2x w/ 28-70 @ 34mm
.3 sec @ f/10 (Don't ask me why, I haven't a clue!)
100 ISO
Singh Ray Polarizer
Tripod
Capture One 6, CS4

I would love to hear your thoughts and critiques. Thanks for looking.

A nice arrangement. I particularly like the balance between the upturned and down-turned leaves.

The colors are so warm and attractive. I'm amazed at how easy this is to look at even though there's no major point of focus.

Frame filling good, Bill. I like the naturalness of the arrangement and the blend of the colors from yellow to brown throughout.

Hi Bill :wavey: I like the combination of upturned leafs against the yellow ones. Interesting patterns and color tones in this scene

Bill: I like the relative homogeneity of these leaves and the understated color palette especially. Well seen and captured.>=))>

Excellent eye to see and compose this fine mix of leaves in different positions.
