Snow Capped

Nikon D600, 150mm, F/18, 1/60, ISO 800.

The first snowfall lightly covered all the Black-eyed Susan flower heads, making for a very pretty winter scene. Comments appreciated.

the snow covered flower heads are delightful. The one large tree trunk is a bit overwhelming, but I like this otherwise.

Very nice, Albert. The subtle red of the stems looks so nice with all the fluffy white. :wavey:

From the thumbnail I thought this was B&W. Lovely floral "arrangement" but I might crop a little off the top.

Nice spread of whites and greys, Albert - and I like the way the tree trunks anchor the scene. Lovely image !

What a nice observation! It makes me think about how strong those long spindly dried up stalks must be!

From the thumbnail, I at first thought these were cotton plants. Snow has an amazing way of making everything beautiful including these seed heads. Wish we had more snow to help beautify the drapness of winter but we seem to get very little in recent years. :frown: Nice winter find, Albert!

Very nice winter scene, Albert! The oof snow covered branches are a nice bg and I agree with Ian that the tree trunks anchor the scene.

I like this as posted Albert but I also like the suggestion to crop some from the top. Beautiful scene.

I like the contrast and repeating tones in this, Albert. The snow adds a very nice additional element to it as well. Well done!
