A couple weeks back Doug Koepsel, Peter Coskun and I met up along the Salt River for some sunset fun and this was my pick of the litter. Hope you like it.

Nice looking scene, Bob. I like how the light on the rocks leads the eye up through the image. The oranges are a bit saturated, at least on my monitor. If it were mine I might dodge the reflection a bit to bring it out more. Also might add some contrast on the right side above the rocks, looks like some flare sneaking in there. Nice shot.

This is a beautifully composed scene and the light is terrific. I love the colors. Agree that the river could be lightened a little for interest in the middle of the image. But still, lovely as is.

Some intense light and colours but well presented and processed.

The comp here is superb Bob. Like the others mentioned the oranges are a bit rich, might try taking down the luminance just in the oranges a bit. Otherwise a very fine image.

Like the composition and the light. Agree with others about toning it down just a bit but I know these colors really light up at sunset...

Beautiful golden light, and the reflection is a nice touch.

You really had some nice conditions and made a beautiful shot. I love the reflections in the pool. Beautiful warm and golden colors from the setting sun. You did a good job processing this one.

The sweet light and classic near/far comp make for a very pleasing image.

Overall excellent composition. Makes me want to have a seat on the rocks and listen to the water rush past. I agree with Zack on saturation and right side flare. :toast:

Sweet light Bob. I would agree with the previous comment about lightening the reflection slightly. Also, the reflection is bumbing up agains the rock in the pool. I might try in the futer to give some separation between the two. You might loose some of the FG rocks by moving closer, but well worth it I think.
