I shot this last January at Gulf Islands National Seashore here on pensacola Beach, FL. It immediately caught my attention, and I liked the abstract nature of it.

I like how the lines radiate from the center & the contrasting orange & white lines. On the other hand, part of me would be interested in seeing a closer crop...probably one that would include the leaf in the lower left corner...it seems like it would tie my interest in a little more into one particular spot.

Bill:
I can see why this caught your eye. I like the abstract nature of the image and the radiating lines from a central node - reminds me of a jumbled bunch of telephone cables. The leaf in the LLC adds interest but I also wish the density of lines there is the same as rest of the frame.

It definitely stands up. I like to view it large with all the details, but there is a flow also in the image. The leaf though, I would see it somewhere else in the frame.

Bill: Good eye! I do like the leaf but I can see tighter crops without it that to my mind would be really abstract and somewhat mysterious. Keep 'em coming. >=))>
