St. Thomas Whirlpool

I've only been to the Caribbean once, but agree that the water colors are amazing. You've got some nice action here in the center pool and the orange rock surface, lower right, is also very attractive. The contrast seems extreme. Was this a mid-day shot? I find myself wishing for a view from a higher angle so the central pool fills more of the frame and there's less of the dark water at the top.
