Another capture from my trip to Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria this week. Again the snow accentuated some textures within the dense forest and undergrowth interestingly for me.

This is a nice, subtle woods image Peter. You're right, the snow does outline the trees nicely. I also like the understated hues in the foreground. Good job!! Chet

The snow does seem to again tie the scene together in layers of lines. It even delineates those lines to add to the depth.

Another beauty Peter. I like the fine details and the warm feel this has. I also like the careful composition. These (this and your last image) are hard images to compose, and you've done a masterful job IMO. Well done.

Good eye Peter, you pulled this off beautifully, really like the dark trunks peppered with snow. Well done.

Peter, i love this one much better than your previous one. Of course, there is also a chaos but this make much more sense to me. i also love the vertical of the tree trunks in the background. This is not an eays comp but you did a good job here.

Another nice image. The brown of the bushes adds interest.

Very abstract with nice subtle color Peter. The snowy branches are wonderful as is the comp. I like how the chaos at the bottom transforms to the more structured forms at the top. Wonderful find and capture.

This is even better than the last one for me. Its interesting how the snow acts in much the same way as directional lighting would to give depth to the trunks.

The delicate dusting has a way of bringing out textures that a big dump of snow doesn't. It's amazing to me that winter brings out the reddish color in the trees and shrubs - maybe it's just covered in the summer? :toast:
