Glacial Jewel

A slightly different comp from an Earlier Post - different enough that I though I would get some opinions on preference. Slightly different lighting brought out the blues a bit more, and I personally really like the small FG bergs. A newly born glacial lake in the Austrian Alps this past fall. Your thoughts appreciated.

Canon 5DII, 24-105L, polarizer, f26, 1/125 sec.

This is beautiful Harry. I especially like the foreground elements. The reflection of the clouds is wonderful as are the two rocks and ripple lines in the water. I definitely like this better than your previous post from this area.

Thanlks Eva - Those are actually ice ripples from a skim of icethat formed on a portion of the lake. I got there early enough and it was cloudy enough to prevent it from melting. Pretty neat.

Harry, I really like this image. The overall cool cyan hue adds the perfect mood. The foreground elements are suberb.

Fantastic work for me, Harry. I definitely prefer this version. The inclusion of the foreground elements just makes the difference for me, they make for a wonderful counterpoint to the majestic mountains to my eye.

They're both nice Harry, but I prefer this one over the previous. The previous shot had a wider, grander view, but this one is a bit more intimate. Also, barrel distortion from the wide angle was apparent on the previous image. Although, that's fixable.

What tops this one off for me are those ripples around the foreground rocks. Beautiful image!
